Who We Are

Little Fallow was started by a pair of Whakatane mums with a keen interest in hunting, horses and farming who were sick of finding the American White Tailed Deer on anything hunting themed.

So they set out with the goal to create a wider range of right proper New Zealand hunting themed homewares, and baby goods too.

These designs are genuinely hand drawn and painted the old fashioned way by Sally, she then creates them into the designs and patterns we see on the gorgeous products.

Stacey then sources suppliers with the best quality fabrics and materials for their products, finding new items to produce along the way.

Together they create and produce these quality products.

Meet The Team

Stacey

I am a vet nurse and mother, together with my husband we are raising 2 beautiful girls rurally in the Awakeri area on the outskirts of Whakatane, in the sunny Bay of Plenty. I have a passion for breeding and rearing horses, along with pig and deer hunting.

Born and bred up in the Awakeri area myself I spent many years riding horses and going out hunting. Together with friends we started the NZ Women Hunters facebook page to promote Women in Hunting and we took out the TePuna Big 3 competition in 2013, proving women hunters can do it too!

Sally

I am a small time artist dabbling in hunting/fishing art and pet portraits along with being a mother of 2, with pepi number 3 on the way. Together with my husband we live on a lifestyle block rurally on the outskirts of Te Uerweras in the sunny Bay of Plenty. I have a passion for hunting, farming, horses and just the outdoors in general.

Growing up on the Rangitaiki Plains I was born and raised in Thornton. Having never done any official art or design training, apart from what my art teachers taught me in High School, I am on the most part self taught.

I first teamed up with Stacey on a headband design project for NZ Women Hunters, we went on to produce a line of tshirts and then tea towels which is when the idea for Little Fallow was born.
